I work as a Web Developer but I'm striving towards becoming a Software Engineer. I was a pure Front End developer until late 2008. The emergence of frameworks such as Zend & JQuery led me to web application engineering and got me hooked. So I work mainly in the view layer, developing HTML, PHP, CSS and Javascript solutions in conjunction with Designers, IAs and other Software Engineers. I have experience of writing unit & integration tests and I am currently working on my own TDD practices.

I have keen interest in web standards, and make sure my coding is to a professional level. I develop across different platforms, and in a variety of programming languages. I am very interested in mobile and developing the mobile web.

Personally I have a keen interest in music and I play bass guitar in a band Balthazar B & The Beatitudes. My own personal goal is to become a better web developer and I would hopefully like to move into Software Engineering in the not-too-distant-future.
